Superiority in Nitrogen
Fertammon
Ammonium sulphate nitrate (3:1 ammoniacal-to-nitric ratio) for prolonged nitrogen supply. The high sulphur content helps unlock phosphorus and trace elements in alkaline soils.
Ammonium Sulphate Nitrate
Modern fertilization increasingly recognizes that Nitrogen alone is not enough — Sulphur has become the fourth major nutrient, essential alongside N, P and K for complete crop nutrition.
Fertammon combines ammonium-nitrate Nitrogen with a high Sulphur content in a single granule, at an approximate 3:1 ratio of Ammoniacal to Nitric Nitrogen.
The nitrate fraction is absorbed immediately by the roots, while the ammoniacal fraction remains available in the soil for longer, extending the crop’s nitrogen supply. The high sulphur content additionally helps unlock phosphorus and trace elements in alkaline soils.
Sulphur (S)
Sulphur is an essential nutrient for complete plant nutrition, alongside Nitrogen, Phosphorus and Potassium. It is a structural component of amino acids (cysteine, methionine) and proteins, and plays a key role in chlorophyll formation and enzyme activity. Declining atmospheric sulphur deposition (a result of cleaner industrial emissions) has depleted the natural sulphur reserves that used to reach soils passively, making targeted sulphur fertilization increasingly necessary in modern agriculture. Sulphur deficiency shows up as pale, yellowing young leaves, similar to nitrogen deficiency, and reduces yield and protein quality, particularly in oilseed and legume crops.
